The AFI’s had the much needed facelift it needed last night with the inaugural AACTA Awards taking place at the iconic Sydney Opera House.
Australia’s A listers were at the awards including Geoffrey Rush, Cate Blanchett, Rachel Taylor, Olivia Newton-John and even Miranda Kerr who told us she might consider acting sometime soon...
Red Dog walked away with the award for Best Film, Packed to the Rafters won the audience voted award for Best TV show.

Megan Gale and Fifi Box sat down for a catch up over a "dinner" served by Jules Lund live during their radio show.
During the chat Gale squashed all rumors that a different voice has been used in the new L'Oreal Paris commercials.
The supermodel read from a script provided by Fifi and it looks like it could actually be her voice.

Melbourne's Fox FM welcomed Megan Gale onto The Matt & Jo Show this morning and she opened up about her private life and how difficult it can be dealing with being in the public eye.
Megan told Matt & Jo that she has found it difficult to keep smiling over the last few months after so many lies have been written about her.
"When you get to, like, the fourth month it's like, ok, really finding it hard to pull a smile out of the bag."

The Dirt were all frocked up at the Brisbane Racing Club's AAMI Stradbroke Race Day yesterday, where Megan Gale made a special appearance.
We were shocked to see the normally so well put together Megan had made a rather embarrassing fashion faux pas: she left the label on her shoes!
