Eva Mendes doesn't want to have children.

The 34-year-old actress - who visited a rehabilitation facility earlier this year for "personal issues" - admits she has no desire to start a family with boyfriend George Gargurevich.

She said: "I'm just not that girl who dreams about being a mum. That's a real commitment and a whole lifestyle change."

Eva also shared her secret to escaping paparazzi photographers.

She added to Britain's Glamour magazine: "Don't date other actors. That's the big secret. If you are famous and you date someone famous, you're screwed. And if you make the person you are dating famous by walking red carpets with them, you're setting yourself up for something bad."

Eva recently revealed she is a huge fan of therapy following her visit to rehab, and doesn't think there is anything wrong with people seeking help from a professional.

She said: "I'm big on therapy. I've always said I love talking about therapy, because there's nothing wrong with it. Why wait until something goes terrible in your life to start fixing things?"
