Lady Gaga has been appointed "Creative Director and Inventor of Speciality Products" at photographic giant Polaroid at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show last night.

Her shock new position will have her working on a top secret range of digital gadgets due for release by Christmas this year.

"I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer, and as my father puts it, finally have a real job," said Gaga.

So now the question is, will her business cards read Lady Gaga or her real name, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta?
