Only three sleeps until the Oscars! The Academy Awards are like celebrity gossip Christmas, and we are tres excited to see what Santa brings us this year.

Word on the street is that Hugh Jackman won’t just be hosting the Oscars, he’ll also be part of an all-singing, all-dancing spectacular starring Beyonce, Zac Efron and his “girlfriend” Vanessa Hudgens from High School Musical, plus Amanda Seyfried and boyfriend Dominic Cooper from Mamma Mia.

Best of all: it's directed by Baz Luhrmann. We could die from the fabulousness. The only thing better would be if it was just Hugh, Zac and Baz, dancing in a rain of glitter.

Jennifer Aniston is still desperately struggling to be noticed – by anyone! please! – so she’s forcing John Mayer into his tux to walk the red carpet and try and distract some of the cameras from Brad and Angelina. Oh, Jennifer. She’s obviously forgotten that it’s pretty hard to upstage a couple at the Academy Awards when they’re both nominated for Oscars.

 

Poor Jen has never been nominated for an Oscar … wait, why is she even at the Oscars again? Doesn’t she just spend her time doing yoga and tanning? She’ll totally end up having a cry in the ladies’ bathroom.

Our pick for catfight of the night is between Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson. Both teen heartthrobs, both obsessed with their hair, both presenting. Battle of the teen idols! We’re fairly certain Zac is busy filing his nails into talons at home so he can scratch R.Patt’s eyes out backstage.

 

One of our favourite humans, Robert Downey Jr., scored a surprise best actor nomination for his role as an Aussie actor playing a black man in Tropic Thunder. Bitch is both hilarious and brilliant ... but he won't win. No amount of brilliance can top Heath Ledger.
