Jessica Simpson is so desperate to have children that she’s put together a back-up plan incase she doesn’t find a man by the time she reaches 40. Jess has revealed that her gay best friend, hairdresser Ken Paves, will be her baby back-up.

Jessica has desperately wanted to have a child ever since her younger sister, Ashlee Simpson, gave birth in 2008.

Ken doesn’t see why they need to wait 10-years though, "I'm ready now! I've been trying to convince her to do it before I turn 40, which is two years."
