UPDATE

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have welcomed a baby boy.

Kerr gave birth at a Los Angeles hospital Thursday night (US time) according to X17 online.

Her parents visited the happy family around 8pm last night.

Miranda tweeted recently that despite having a US, European and Australian passport, er first born will be "an Aussie through and through".

Miranda Kerr is close to giving birth to her first child in Los Angeles.

A family member confirmed the good news with The Daily Telegraph, revealing she went into labour in the early hours of Friday morning

Her parents Therese and John have joined husband Orlando Bloom for the labour following a false alarm on Boxing Day.
