It's truly been touch and go as friends, family, and fans of Molly Meldrum remain on edge following the Aussie music icon's terrible fall in late December, and now we're about to find out what happened that fateful day.

Channel Seven's Sunday Night program has been given an exclusive insight into the events leading up to the accident, including footage shot hours before Meldrum's fall and a recording of the triple-0 call to emergency authorities.

The music icon is still suffering from post traumatic amnesia, and a full recovery, if possible, is still going to take a significant amount of time.
