One Dead, Two Stabbed In Victorian Town

A man is dead after stabbing two men in regional Victoria, leaving one fighting for life and the other in a serious condition.

Police say the man stabbed two other men he knew at a business in Kirk Street, Moe about 9.15am on Monday.

Both victims are in Latrobe Regional Hospital with serious upper body injuries, one in a life threatening condition.

Their attacker fled and was later found fatally wounded - his death is not being treated as suspicious, police say.

Locals contacted by AAP said they believed the attack happened at an accounting firm, and it wasn't the "usual kind" of Monday in Moe.

Albert Street Primary School shut doors and gates for an hour and police blocked off a building tenanted by RGM Accountants and the Caltex Police Station next door.
