Bali Police Identify Arrested Aussie Teen’s White Powder
Balinese police have reportedly tested and identified the white powder that caused a Perth teenager to be arrested.
Bali police sources told News Corporation that the white powder “appears to be pain medication, most likely paracetamol”.
The sources also said that blood and urine tests on the 18-year-old have tested negative for drugs.
“I cannot give any explanation before I get the official report from the forensic laboratory. We are still waiting for the report,” Commissioner Sumara told News Corporation.
The Australian teenager was arrested at a Kuta nightspot after security discovered a small packet of white powder amongst his belongings. He has spent two nights in custody at a Kuta police station.
More to come.
