Get Ready For A Warm Start To Summer
The first day of summer will be lovely – but don’t expect it to last.
Melbourne is forecast to hit 27 degrees on Thursday – but a cool change will arrive soon after, sending us back to the low 20s on Friday.
Melbourne will turn on the warmth for the first day of summer, with a top of 27 degrees forecast for Thursday.
But don't pack your woollies away just yet, because a cool change will arrive soon after, sending us back to the low 20s on Friday.
This past week has been around 3 degrees below the November average – lingering around 17 degrees.
This summer is expected to be hotter and drier than usual in Victoria – especially in December, when the state is most likely to see above average temperatures and below average rainfall, The Age reports.
