Super Moon Fail

You're Not Alone If You Missed It

Melbourne has been left disappointed after cloud cover blocked our view of the biggest super moon in almost 70 years.

The spectacular glowing moon could be seen floating closer to the earth than usual last night.

It looked amazing hovering over well-known cities like Hong Kong, New York and Beijing but sadly most of us missed out in Melbourne.

The super moon was tricky to spot behind the clouds however Brissy and Sydney were treated to a good view.

Don't worry if you missed it, you'll still be able to catch a glimpse of the super moon again tonight, otherwise you'll need to wait until November 2034 to see a spectacle like this again.

Fingers crossed there's no clouds, so keep a look out.
