Here’s everything you need to know.

Trump or Clinton? We are on the edge of our seats.

It’s nearly time for the season finale of America, AKA the US election results. But when we will we know who wins?

There are a few likely scenarios. Let’s break them down.

If it’s a landslide

If one candidate is very obviously dominating all the key swing states, we could predict a winner by 1:30PM AEDT. However, this would not become official until the less competitive western states determine their results later in the afternoon

If it’s not too close

Polls close in most of the western states after 3pm AEDT so it’s possible a winner could be declared shortly after this time.

If it’s pretty close

Things could get messy if the votes are close. Back in 2000, the election between George W. Bush and Al Gore was not decided until a month after the polling day. Eeeek.
