Hamish & Andy donned their best Aussie lycra suits and headed to the Olympic Basketball Gymnasium to watch the Aussie women's basketball team compete against Russia. It was a hard fought competition with Russia looking like trouncing Australia at half-time mostly thanks to the defensive skills of Russian Maria Stepanova. After half-time though the Russians seemed to stop and the Aussies powered through to a 75-55 victory. Key to the victory were Opals Penny Taylor and Lauren Jackson as well as sharp-shooter Belinda Snell! Australia are now through to the semi-finals of the competition!
