Finally after 22 years on hit Aussie soap, Home & Away, Ray Meagher (aka Alf) is up for a Gold Logie!

  As i am happy for Ray (Alf), i don't remember a big campaign to help Ian Smith (Harold form Neighbours) get a gold loggie last year and i think he is the Neighbours equivalent to Alf. if Ian couldn't get one on his last year at the show then why should Alf? Alf is no more special and he's not even leaving. im sorry but it just wouldn't be fair to good old Harold Bishop :p

  Almost two years ago I lobbied TV Week to get Ray Meagher's name on the list to be able to be nominated for the Gold Logie. Up until last year he was never able to be nominated for the gold logie. Here's hoping he will win the Gold Logie.
