Did The Papers Get It Wrong About Britney's Circus?

Newspapers slammed Britney Spear's first Australian show, saying that her lip synching had driven her fans away.
So the star arrived for her first show in Melbourne under a cloud of negative press; with her Circus show firmly under scrutiny.
After she played for the first time at Rod Laver Arena last night Matt and Jo asked fans to call and tell us what it was REALLY like: did anyone walk out? Were you annoyed by her lip synching?
We were amazed that 95% of the calls we received said that Britney and her show were great.
Chrissy from Brighton said "I think it's just all the papers just making a big deal. They've been picking on her since she left the airport."
Renata from Noble Park said "I have to say I did not see one person walk out. Everyone was on their feet dancing."
Natalie from Somerville said it was "one of the best concerts I have ever been to."
Natasha, who had won a coveted Loveseat by shaving her head on the Matt & Jo show had a frontrow seat for all the action. She said "it was amazing. Not just Britney, but the other performers were amazing too."
Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback we got from Melbourne 'The Herald Sun' is still criticising Britney; "as a dancer she's possibly the weakest link in her show."
So have the papers got it wrong about Britney's Circus? Or do you disagree with the callers who told us the show was great? We would love to hear your opinions!

The effects, the whole circus theme was incredible! The massive plasma's around the tent was a great idea.She's back!

Britney last night was AMAZING, the show was fantastic. If people seriously left her Perth concert it was definately their loss as the show only got better and better. So proud she showed it to Australia's negative media!

a mixture of emotions @ britneys concert last. a little disappointed, awkward silences in the audience, mind you, i was the only one screaming, and god was that hilarious! For some reason i was the one saying "You know she lip syncs, get over it", but when your there in person, its kinda a let down, id hate to say this but i found myself on facebook for a little bit during one of her songs. I dont know, maybe i went in with really high expectations, but it was a little bit of a bore. i think the highlight of the night was the exploding confetti thing at the end of her show. i walked away with nothing :( was okay though, worth seeing i guess

AMAZING!! I was on the floor right in front of the stage and I loved every second of it. When she sang everytime "she sanf that one live" while perched on a beautiful float umberella, it was outstanding and the croud was all standing and singing along with her. The press love to be negative in this country..its a disgrace.

OMG I loved her she is so pretty! I don't care if she mimed or not but the costumes WERE AWSOME!!!!! And the dancing was cool! I loved it last night it was just amazing!
