Dry July - Jo's Update 04/07/08 Jo Stanley 7 July, 2008 - 11:21 AM

Well its been 4 days and I'm going strong. I went to lunch with a friend, who I would normally share a bottle with, and got by on only mineral water.
It was quite fortuitous really, because when her gorgeous 10month old, Scarlet, knocked over my glass I didn't care. If it had been sauv blanc I wouldn't have been happy!

Thursday night I had one little craving for a glass, but Dazza's stern frown was enough to keep me on the orange juice.

This weekend I've got a wedding and my birthday, so that's going to be a challenge. But I'll have to focus on things that distract me - cut up the dance floor at the wedding, and eat a bucket load of birthday cake!

So far, I've popped $30 into the charity coffers. Lets see where we get to by Monday!

Only 2 more nights to go, I can taste the first glass of wine already.

Hard slog but glad I have dont it, learnt alot about myself in the past month, save $700 AND I put weight on! Whats with that?
