(This is a reenactment, not Jo Stanley's actual boobs.)
17 weeks prego and feeling great!! Am so relieved and feel very fortunate that the nausea has pretty much gone. I've had many friends who were sick for their entire 9 months, so I'm thrilled that I have no more "out of my way, I'm gonna spew" moments.

Jo I basically had to put my whole wardrobe on hold and opt for nothing but trackies for three months! It was tough!

Hi There, I dont think you will have a choice when it comes to shoes, its called "water retension" I missed my jeans the most! All you need to do is keep comfortable, keep yourself feeling sexy and remember to enjoy the magic growing inside. Its incredible!

hey Jo, I've been pregnant twice and 1st time i bought maternity wear. What a rip off and a waste when you can go to Kmart or Target and get the joga pants for $20. I remember paying $120 at a maternity store. The fashion now is much better for big people and pregnant people. So don't waste your money.

You don't need to sacrifice your fav jeans or pants Jo, you just need to get yourself a 'belly belt' you can get them from most maternity shops or BigW and they cost around $30, it's a piece of elastic that hooks into your button holes in your pants. It's got a cotton slip that tucks into your zip to cover your nickers. it comes in a pack with about 3 different sizes so it grows with you. You then get a nice long top to wear over your pants. another option is a "bando belt" it's like a boob tube for your waist, it's stretchy enough to fit over your belly right until your full term and it sits over pants that you would normally wear on your hips and just looks like your wearing another top under the one you've got on. I have a 3 week old bub and i swore by these items right through my pregnancy!

Jo, you looked sensational on the footy thingo last night.....I actually said "wow" when you came on. Don't you just love preggy boobs? I was a small boob girl before i had my kids but they just stayed quite a nice size after each pregnancy (3 of those). I love my boobs - enjoys them.....

jo don' go buying maternity clothes mosh of which are ulgy and too pricey just get the next size or two sizes up from what you normally wear. As for the high heels trust me you'll say good bye to them soon or your back will pay for it later. I know what your going through as I've only got about 3 weeks at the most left in my first pregancy.

Jo, I wore high heels for the whole time I was pregnant, even the day I gave birth. If you are comfortable - then why not!! As for clothes I was lucky enough not to put on much weight and was able to get back into my old clothes. Good Luck.

Hi Jo,
Congrats on the baby new, I wouldn't be tossing anything or sending to the op shop cos it gives you n=more incentive to get back into it once the baby is about 6-12 months. I think there are some really nice pregnancy clothes out now, otherwise go for the baby doll top look but I know alot of people don't like prego clothes they just buy what they like a size bigger. and thongs I lived in them as I was pregnant over summer as your feet start to swell and get sore you may give up the heels for a short time :-)
Remember to enjoy all these stages in your journey as it is the best thing you will ever do.
I look forward to hear more, keep us posted
