Matt has made a serious bet. He reckons Jo's such a TERRIBLE race day gambler that she wont be able to pick a single winner in Spring Racing.

He's so sure he's placed an on air bet with sportsbet.com.au that she wont back any winning horses across Derby, Cup or Oaks day. He's bet $100 at 20:1, so he stands to win a massive $2100 if he's right.

Jo has admitted that she's never managed to bet on a winning horse - so Matt could be on to a good thing here.

Here are Jo's bets for the rest of Spring Racing. Can she change the habits of a lifetime and actually pick a winner? Matt doesn't think so!

Update: Well congratulations to Jo - she picked her first winner! Sorry Matt - you lose!

  Every year people work on names, I go with the numbers. I'll keep you posted if I get that feeling of the above numbers being different. At best I can guarantee at least one of three finishers.

  If you do not pick a winner Jo, Matt has to celebrate by running the track in the raw except for a saddle on his back.
