Wayne Carey: The Truth Hurts? Posted by Team Matt & Jo 28 October, 2009 - 9:13 AM

Wayne Carey joined Matt and Jo in the studio to talk about his new book. It's called 'The Truth Hurts' and claims to be an honest account of his life to date; warts and all.

After freeing himself from the influence of drugs and alcohol, Matt & Jo wanted to get to the real story of Wayne's past actions and his current beliefs about women, drugs and the choices he's made.

Listen to the interview and have your say: is Wayne Carey finally revealing his true self?

Part 1: What's Wayne's definition of abuse and are there more revelations to come?

Part 2: Is 'therapy speak' hiding Wayne's real feelings and will those who've suffered because of his actions share the profits from his book?

Part 3: Did Wayne use his daughter to promote his book and what advice would he give her about men?

Seriously I dont know why the media is giving him the time of day. Yeh he is admitting his faults and stuff ups and is sorry. No One cares its old news. Move onto something more interesting other then dwelling onto the past.

Its good to hear the man owning up for what is done in the pass. It nice for Jo to taking the time to give the man he's say and I think he should denote all the profits to woman's shelters

Thank You Jo and you have my respect.

It seems that Wayne Carey is dammed if he does and dammed if he does not. He has done wrong and he never once denied that. Now that he is putting the story out there he is getting accused of exploiting his daughter etc. The media want his story and they just payout on him when he does. Everybody makes mistakes, at least he is man enough to admit it.
By the way, i am not a north melb supporter either

There are many of us who have faced the same dilemmas and problems as Wayne has where it feels as though there is no way out, I know I have/am, however, after reading Wayne's biography which I couldn't put down it is refreshing to read that we're not on our own and there is a way out, good on you Wayne for your brutal honestly. I'll still always barrack for the dogs though xxx
